Bequest Basics

Bequest Basics is designed for anyone who speaks with donors considering leaving a bequest or assists Gifts in Wills fundraisers. It will give you the language to talk about bequests and help you prevent potential pitfalls in will drafting.

Course structure

This course involves a pre-recorded presentation for you to complete at your own pace, a live Q and A session with the Bequest Assist team and helpful take home materials. You’ll be given optional quizzes to make sure the content is making sense, a handy tip sheet and the opportunity to ask any lingering questions. We include many case studies to help bring the material to life, allowing you to apply it to your day-to-day work. All of our courses are space-limited so you can meet your peers and have ample time for your questions.
