Bequest Basics is designed for anyone who speaks with donors considering leaving a bequest, assists Gifts in Wills fundraisers, or needs a working understanding of bequests. It will give you the language to talk about bequests and help you prevent potential pitfalls in will drafting.

Course structure

You can complete this course at your own pace, with around four hours of base video content and hours of optional extras. It includes optional quizzes to make sure the content is making sense, a handy tip sheet and templates for download, and access to our past webinars. We include many case studies to help bring the material to life, allowing you to apply it to your day-to-day work. When the course is done, you’re given the opportunity to send any lingering questions to the Bequest Assist team.
